Beach House and Our Current Home

This past year we completely remodeled the beach house. It is no longer the little gray house you will recall. It now has white vinyl siding, a green roof, front door and shutters. We also put in new vinyl windows throughout. We really enjoy living here except for only having half the space of the house in Maple Valley and only one bathroom

We also completely redid the inside. We painted, including the ceilings, had new carpet laid, and Rick and Reid put in new tile in the entry, kitchen and bathroom. Rick put in a new bathroom vanity and refinished the tub. We put new windows and blinds up as well. We left the kitchen cupboards and counters. But it's like having a new house.

Saturday, we finally hung the woodwork we had bought for the house. We never liked the big blank space and the seagulls we had on the gray house just didn't work on the white vinyl siding. These are done by a local chainsaw artist.

Rocky is 12 weeks old

We took Rocky to the Vet yesterday for his 12 week check up and shots. In the past 4 weeks he has grown from 8 lbs. to 25.5 lbs. We knew he was getting bigger. Rick is really working with him and he is learning lots. He can sit, roll over, shake, crawl, stay, and he is learning to wave and heel. Not bad for a 3 month old. With the bell, we are having more success with house training also. Only one accident yesterday. He even rings it to go outside to cool off after playing. We are really enjoying him. He certainly has a different personality than Patches.

Scott & Cara's New Home

I got to spend a couple of days with Scott and Cara in their new home. It is really beautiful. They are really enjoying it.

Looking into the Kitchen Area. So much larger than Cara had before she actually has empty shelves!

Eileen's Trip to Utah

On Monday, Scott and I were in Moab, Ut meeting with the builder and others working on Rick and mine property. We had a little time to kill prior to the meeting so went into Arches National Park. Scott had never been there, and I think he was impressed. We only went a little ways in for lack of time and he wanted to wait and share it with the rest of his family.
